Karen Cook MRCNA

Ms Karen Cook MRCNA has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council since April 2005. Karen has been a registered nurse since 1982. She also has qualifications in gerontology nursing and mediation and a degree in Health Administration. Karen has over 20 years experience in health sector management. She is strongly committed to working with stakeholders in the development of a national standards framework for nurses and midwives which supports them to practice safely.
